How to replace a broken dash panel. My dash panel broke within a few days. Maybe I was unlucky. You can't always spot debris in tall grass. It might be a rock or a piece of metal. So I decided to make a permanent dash panel out of stainless steel. I needed to find something with a similar profile. It turns out everything was nearby. These include sinks and drums from old washing machines. Choose the right profile and cut it with a grinder.
