Hello and welcome to Day 27 - How To Handle Frames In Selenium Webdriver
Today we are talking about frames, iframes, how To Handle Frames In Selenium Webdriver

What is a frame? Frame is a web page embedded within a parent window or web page
What we will go through in this video is how to switch from parent the frame window and carry out some checks on the frame window then switch back to the parent window and also carry out a function just to so switch back to parent was successful
There are three methods or ways to switch from main window to a frame within that window
1. By Index attribute
We will find all the frames on the web page and by using the index concept we can successfully locate the frame we are interested in. If there are 10 frames then indexing will start at zero so (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9....) and so on..
2. By id or frame name attribute
3. webelement attribute, so making use of our usual web locator strategies
How to identify frames using selenium webdriver
1. Right click web element and check the drop down list for reference to 'This Frame' and if present then we can conclude we are dealing with a frame
2. Again right click on element, select 'view page source' from drop down list and on page source page is displayed we will want to hold Ctrl+F and search source page HTML for tag name = iframe and again if it is present in then we are dealing with frames
