Minecraft Story Mode – Telltale Games First 2025 Update!
Telltale Games just gave us their first Minecraft Story Mode update of 2025 and it’s intersting.
In response to a fan asking about the future of Minecraft Story Mode, Telltale replied: “The rights for Minecraft Storymode reverted back to Mojang/Microsoft when the original Telltale shuttered, so you would have to talk to them.”
That means Telltale can’t bring the game back or make a Season 3 unless Mojang steps in. This gives more clarity about the ownership of the franchise. Could Mojang revive it? Let’s break down what this means for the future of the series.
