Pre-restored BMW X3 G01 problems with the FRSF sensor and curtains
A client came to me with a problem:
1) The upper and lower curtains aren't working.
2) The FRSF sensor works intermittently.
After a brief diagnostic, it was discovered that there was a problem with the wiring under the bumper. After the winter and our chemicals, in particular, the wiring had rotted and the connectors had corroded. After repairing the wiring, the FRSF sensor worked again. However, there was an additional problem with the curtains: the upper blind motor had died. After discussing with the client, it was decided to disable them programmatically, leaving them in the open position.
