Doug Thorley Long tube headers & Dual Borla custom exhaust on a 2003 v8 Sport 4x4 Toyota 4 Runner.
I knew I wanted Doug Thorley Long tube headers with Dual Borla exhaust from the get go. I’ve now had it on a month and a half and the driving experience is completely altered. Very good power increase. Going up the mountain to northern Arizona on the 17 pulls lower RPM’s. Cruising at 1100 RPM has a very low calm rumble. When you get on it, it sounds like a totally different animal. I paired the exhaust system with a Volant cold air intake, sprint booster, and URD MAF calibrator. Still trying to find someone to calibrate that for me but that’s another story🙄 other than that lately I find myself driving with the radio off just so I can listen to that rumble.
