My friends, today I attended a private screening of the tragicomedy "Blood Wedding" premiere at the Mayakovsky Polar Drama Theater as a guest blogger.
To close the 80th season, the theater plans to present a production of "Blood Wedding," a tragedy by the legendary 20th-century Spanish poet, playwright, artist, and musician Federico García Lorca, on the Main Stage on June 27 at 6:00 PM. Directed by SERGEY POTAPOV, with designer SULPAN AZAMATOVA and choreographer OLESYA SHENDRIK. This play is about tragic love... goosebumps, a lump in my throat, tears... that's how I can describe my feelings and emotions. The acting is incredible and touches my heart. I'm not afraid to say this: this is the BEST play I've ever seen. I'll definitely see it again, this time with my husband. 😊
