Fuzzy Matching for Text Strings in Spotfire
Fuzzy Matching is a way to find strings that are similar to each other, but not exact. It can be useful to align strings with abbreviations or typos to those without. It can be used to clean your data or to join disparate datasets with similar but different string columns.
