How to get on Spotify Playlists! The big question! Spotify curated playlists or individually curated? Should i pay for submissions? What should i be looking for!
I have tested out many different ways and techniques to get on Spotify playlists, and these are the ones that worked for me and what I have learned...
Distrokid "Musician Plus" submission:
Here is the link to 7% off your subscription if you are not on Distrokid:

The important step is to be able to select your own release date... Without a release date far enough in advance, the spotify for artists app will not allow you to submit to their curated playlists! You need to give them enough time to review your song.
Hunting down individual curators:
Most of these curators will charge you a fee to upload your music to their playlist... Thats normal! Its business... What you need to know is if it is worth the money.
Trial and error...
Research playlist on spotify that fit your genre, and research the curator. Usually an email is always provided. But if you don't find one then you will need to hunt them down on instagram or facebook and compare their profile pictures!
