The DeLINEATE team (http://delineate.it) has put together this video demonstrating one way to set up an Ubuntu system for purposes of doing deep-learning-based analysis of cognitive neuroimaging data using the DeLINEATE toolbox. You might find it helpful if you are only interested one or two of the pieces involved as well, although we hope if it's up your alley, you might give our toolbox a try.

This video covers everything from the OS installation to running the toolbox sample jobs, although we only cover the Theano backend -- TensorFlow is a whole other beast so we'll cover that later. Obviously there are a lot of things you could do differently on your own system, but this will give you a rough idea of the steps involved.

Apologies for the length -- but feel free to skip around if you want. Also be wary of variations in sound level -- it gets a fair bit louder right after the 24 minute mark when we switch microphones.
