Hey there, are you trying to break into cybersecurity but feel like you don't know where to start? Or do you feel like your working hard but its not getting you in?

My name is Chris Ray and I help people break into Cybersecurity by focusing on all the skills needed to land your first cybersec job (or move up!).

Subscribe to my channel, I post videos weekly on a variety of topics I am certain will level-up your cybersecurity game!

***I ran into a problem the other day that I wasn't certain I had a good solution for. As luck would have it, someone else had this problem once before me and created a python script to provide a solution.***

The problem: Exporting your Fortigate firewall policies to a CSV for comparison to another firewall vendors policies. Fortigate's don't have a native function built in that allows you to dump the firewall policies to CSV or excel. To do this you need to take a backup of your config (unencrypted), then run the script found in this Github repo (https://github.com/maaaaz/fgpoliciest....

The trouble is this process wasn't very well documented before this video, which is why I felt like I should make it!

Hey there, my name is Chris and I like to help people learn tech! Specifically, cyber security. If you found this video while looking for Fortinet NSE4 (Fortigate) study materials, congrats! I decided to make these videos after passing the NSE4 and wanting to help others do the same.
