Panner afghani tikka

An authentic indian appetizer which creamy rich and very soothing to your tastebuds. Although tandoor or the clay oven is not from indian history of cuisine but after it reached indian from Iran through afghanistan it was used for cooking mainly non vegeterian kebabs but as its very tasty soon got its vegeterian version and the meat is replaced by paneer. There are lot of flavoured paneer tikka you can find as it is cooked in many marination ,one can have it as their appetizer before any meal or can eat it with some breads also.
Today i am showing you the Paneer afghani tikka, not sure about the origin whether it actually was invented in afghanistan or not but has the richness and that shahi feel of afghani cuisine.
Here i have marinated paneer cubes with hung curd, cardamom powder, garam masala, cream and cashewnut melonseed paste to give that creamy taste. Its flavourful and easy to make if the proportions used for the spice is alright.
Not to forget apart from the butter and the chat masala there is the green chutney or beaten curd with some spices complements this dish well, you can serve with some salad also.

So, here is the video. Enjoy.
