SNOWFALL
In the fields and in the streets/ Silent and mild, /Hovering, the snow / Falls.
The white flap dances/ In the wide sky playfully,/ Then on the ground it lies/Tired.
In one mile motionless forms/ On the roofs and on the chimneys, / On the woodlogs and on the gardens /It sleeps.
Everything around is peace:/ Closed in a profound oblivion,/ The indifferent world/Shuts up…
But in the immense calmness/ The heart goes back to memories,/ And to a forgotton love/ It thinks.
