"Seven" is a very challenging song both rhythm- and lead-wise, even for Necrophagist, and the second riff boggles your mind when you first hear it, and the main riff is just so cool I had to cover this one as well. I seem to be on the way towards having covered all of "Epitaph", and I guess I was destined to - it's just so full of interesting stuff that's so rewarding and fun to learn!
It's in C-standard because it's simply too much of a hassle to go from my regular tuning, C-standard, to E-standard with all the balancing, intonation etc. that is required, just for one or two covers.
It was recorded August 27 using a Shure SM57 (angled very slightly, aimed at the center of the left bottom speaker) through an E-MU 0404 USB 2.0 audio interface.
Recorded using a Sony HX100V. Edited using Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 x64 and rendered as a 1920x1080 50p (same as the original footage) MP4 video using 2 reference frames, "High", 14 Mbps CBR, CUDA-encoded, with 48 kHz and 384 kbps audio.
Guitar: Jackson Warrior WRMG (with EMG 81/85).

I used the Guitar Pro tab at (the guitars are almost spot on, but some of the initial arpeggios in the solo are actually diminished rather than minor):
