@thereluctantoutdoorsman Tom and Paddy the cockapoo (from The Reluctant Outdoorsman channel) head back to the quiet country lanes of Jersey, Channel Islands.
In this video we head straight to the World War 2 Spitfire Pilot Memorial, the memorial to Free French and RAF pilot Bernard Scheidhauer, who was captured by the Germans after making an emergency landing in a turnip field nearby. Bernard was transferred to the infamous Stalag Luft III camp, where he was one of 76 allied prisoners who took part in 'The Great Escape' by tunneling under the perimeter fence. Sadly he was recaptured five days later at Saarbruken and was executed by the Gestapo.

Tom and Paddy (completely by surprise) find themselves outside a house Tom used to live in at Victoria Village.

This is a lovely walk through a rural area in Jersey, Channel Islands.

The video was filmed on Monday, 13th. January 2025.
