Pokémon GO continues to be one of the most beloved mobile games worldwide, but after years of updates, events, and feature changes, there are still major quality-of-life (QoL) improvements players are asking for. In this video, I break down the top requested game improvements that would make Pokémon GO smoother, more efficient, and more fun for everyone—from casual players to hardcore raiders.
Let’s start with the most requested feature of all: mass trading. Currently, trainers can only trade one Pokémon at a time, which is painfully slow—especially after events like Community Day or GO Fest when your storage is full. A mass trade system—similar to mass transfers—would save time and reduce friction, especially for large-scale Lucky trade setups.
Another huge improvement is the ability to remote trade with Ultra or Best Friends. With so much of the game going global, allowing trades across distance—especially for special trades—would keep international friendships alive and thriving. This is especially critical for rare shinies, regionals, and legacy moves that may never return.
We also dive into the ongoing issue of glitches and lag, particularly in PvP, raids, and the buddy system. From frozen catch screens to desynced animations and disappearing Rocket balloons, a more stable, bug-free experience would improve confidence in the app’s functionality.
Other QoL upgrades I cover include:
• Advanced tag filtering (like “&”, “OR”, “EXCLUDE” functions) for better box management
• Improved raid lobbies with clearer countdowns, auto-ready options, and better matchmaking
• Better gifting mechanics such as send-all or open-all functionality
