Playing "Gregtech: New Horizons". I don't think this needs an introduction, but, if you don't know, it's a (in)famous 1.7.10 minecraft modpack which has been developed by multiple people for about 10 years. It now has thousands and thousands of quests and new machines, but the real beauty of this pack is how those things are linked together and the kind of logistic puzzles you have to solve so that everything works flawlessly.

The letter at the beginning of the title stands for what kind of gameplay i'll be doing:
G - Grind: doing repetitive tasks that could be deemed boring or tedious.
P - Progress: doing some actual progression and unlocking cool new stuff
Q - (side)Quests: just trying to complete all of the minor quests for the achievement
B - Building: making new rooms or rearranging stuff i did previously in a nicer-looking way.
E - Exploration: running around looking for something specific

I will avoid giving answers to questions that boil down to "why/when will you do X?" since the answer is always "because i'm now doing Y and i don't want to get distracted. Also Z would be a better thing/solution than X, but i'm going to do W for the fun and memes"

I'm doing a third season (and more to come) of GTNH because i really like this game.
The reasons for liking something are subjective, so i don't want to go too much into it, but since i keep getting asked i want to try to find a good explanation. I think the main reason i like it so much is rather that i haven' found anything better. There just isn't anything as complex and interesting. All the newer gregtech packs seems more or less like a washed down, simplified version of GTNH. I'd rather play 10 times GTNH than 10 "different" modpacks that more or less make you do the same things, with no real challenge. Heck, i'd even go as far as saying that every other factory-building game i've tryied so far can be boiled down to "just connect every machine to a main power cable, put inputs in machine and get outputs". While GTNH is kinda of like that too, it also has a lot of things to balance out and pay attention to, starting from efficiency losses to having to manually restart machines that shout down due to poorly designed power grid... which also has cable loss, maximum voltage and maximum amperages to take into account.
