Heimdallr is described as possessing precognition, keen sight, and hearing, and he watches for invaders and the coming of Ragnarök while sipping fine mead in his abode, Himinbjörg, located where the burning rainbow bridge, Bifröst, meets the sky. Heimdallr is considered the creator of social classes among humanity and once reclaimed Freyja's treasured possession, Brísingamen, by battling Loki in the form of a seal. It is prophesied that Heimdallr and Loki will kill each other during the events of Ragnarök. Heimdallr is also referred to as Ríg, Hallinskiði, Gullintanni, and Vindlér or Vindhlér. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
