Perfect Show Mat System: http://bit.ly/gGT9HS

Hi I'm Joe from Cheap Joe's Art Stuff and I'd like to show you about out matting system called the Perfect Show Matting System. I just love them. They're pre-cut mats, laser cut, so every cut is perfect and they come in the sizes that fit a majority of paintings, half sheet, quarter sheet, full sheet, 8 1/ x 11, 11 x 14 that sort of thing. They come in single white mat, double white mat which is this one, they come in white with a black color and a cream color sort of thing.

I have little painting here and this is an 8 x 10 mat so I did the little painting to fit it. So what you do, you get the mat, the backing board, and an acetate envelope, so it's an ideal situation if you're doing shows like art or sidewalk show or that sort of thing.
It's very simple to use. You lay your backing board there you lay the painting on it and get it squared up and then you simply turn it over just like this very carefully and I've already cut my tape, I use this Lennon Hinging tape which is acid free and the right tape to use. I'm not a framer nor a matter so I think I'm doing this correctly.

So what you want to do is simply tape it here to the painting. Be sure you get it straight. This called hinging and I've already cut these pieces of tape and then you put this over it like that and that secures it and then you put this one over like that and then it's hinged, so that's called hinging and the reason we do that with watercolor paper if it gets damp or moist then it's going to buckle, you've seen them buckled in the frame and you don't want that you want it to be able to move.

I just realized I haven't signed this little painting so I'm going to take the rigger with a little darker paint and I'm going to sign my name right over here so that it balances out the birds and then I'm going to take the envelope that comes with it and I'm going to be the flap goes to the back rather than to the top and I'll simply take my little matted painting and I'll put it in here and this is really quite easy but when you get up to half and full sheets it becomes a little more difficult. There it goes and then on the back we have this tape that comes right off and that allows us then to pull the envelope strong to the back and there we have our little piece matted and ready to put a price on it, put it in a bin and sell it. I hope that helps you. Thank you very much for your business. See you later.
