Arts & Creativity in Entrepreneurship Education Informational Session
Join Lead Facilitator Jason D'Mello in this informational Session about USASBE’s Arts & Creativity in Entrepreneurship Certificate (https://www.usasbelaunch.org/arts2024) being hosted in Urbania, Italy. It is designed to introduce educators in various disciplines to the power of engaging the arts and creative disciplines to develop the entrepreneurial mindset. With proper understanding and orientation to the impact of engaging all senses with different arts disciplines, the learner's mindset can be developed in myriad ways. The Arts & Creativity Entrepreneurship Certificate is an intense, immersive program designed to challenge entrepreneurship educators to let go of their paradigms and experience being a learner, then reflect on how to utilize the arts within their classes, courses, and modules to create the desired outcomes.
Participants will experience activities in visual, ceramic, performing, culinary, fashion, and more. Successful candidates for the certificate will be expected to develop and share experiential exercises utilizing an aspect or element of the arts within entrepreneurship education.
Learning Outcomes:
Gain understanding of both the artist and entrepreneurial mindset while learning from designers, artists and business owners in a culturally historic and rich environment
Collaborate on new pedagogy for artists and entrepreneurs through discussions and shared experiences while traveling abroad
Apply inspiration from global immersion in the arts to inspire new and innovative teaching methods for students of diverse backgrounds
