NIGHT VISION DEVICE IN HISTORY (FG 1250)
The FG 1250 is a German-made 1st generation night vision device that was used at the end of World War II. This device was similar to the ZG 1229 "Vampire" used by the German infantry. [1] This device has a 200 W infrared emitter / lamp about 20 cm in diameter and the receiver is a kind of telescope 50 cm long and 12.7 cm in diameter. Because of this, this device can be used in active or passive mode.
