Hey, all you wonderful people of the interweb.
I just recently got into film photography, and I thought a really cool (and expensive) way to go about it, is to do a sort of project where I make my way through all the 35mm filmstocks I can get my hands on and share my results and thoughts with the world.
You know make it a learning experience for more than myself and a source of information.
So this isn't the first film stock I shot, but it's one of my favourites. Rene Works Selection 5207 which is a Kodak Vision 3 250D cine film that has been adapted for photography by respooling it. Some companies remove the remjet layer before respooling it, I am still awaiting a response from someone at Rene Works. But thanks to an informative comment from @redskysaturn75 we can safely deduce that this film does have the remjet layer, hence the ECN-2 processing.
I've got so many other film stocks to introduce to you, so be sure to keep an eye out for the #filmstocktryouts hashtag here on YouTube, Instagram and 35mmc.com.
Let me know what you think of the photos or anything else, and let me know if there's any particular stock you'd like me to try to get and share.
As always, Just Keep Making Stuff!

Get involved in a community of photographers, go out on photo walks, join photography challenges, follow photographers on social media and study their work, study how they compose a shot, what they keep in the frame and what they leave out. I have a pretty helpful playlist for this called: Slow Gaze.
