Getting Started in Watercolor: An Exercise for Beginners
Here is a great exercise for those just beginning in watercolor. Do a value study of a simple composition, like a simple collection of brown eggs. In this video, I show you step by step how I complete a monochromatic value study of eggs. My goal is to use a full range of values from the white of the paper, to the darkest dark I can achieve. I am using just one color in this painting -- Red Brown by Mijello Mission Gold. #valuestudy #exerciseforbeginners #watercolor
