Heat conduction within a rotating drum - Rocky DEM
Rocky DEM was used to model the heat transfer between particles and particles and walls in a rotating drum rotating at 30 RPM. Walls and particles are initially at 298K. The curved wall then is quickly heated up to 1298K and the evolution of the particles’ temperature is monitored over time.
