Where to go from Earth? Exoplanets suitable for resettlement - Astrophysicist Sergei Popov
Our Earth seems like the best place in the universe. Unfortunately, this isn't true. There could be better planets! We discussed them in our new video! Today, our guest is a unique individual. Sergey Popov is an astrophysicist and professor at the Russian Academy of Sciences. He holds a doctorate in physics and mathematics and is the only person to have written a book about neutron stars in Russian.
We discussed habitable exoplanets, how to access the world's amazing observatories, the vapors from black holes, and what struck Sergey Popov most about what he saw through the lens of a space telescope. We also discussed: will the Earth fall into the Sun, will the oceans boil, and will humans have to fight for fresh water?
We also discussed Earth doppelgangers, alien life, and faith in God.
