Harvesting Sage at the farm
At the farm, we harvest sage by cutting its magnificent aromatic leaves using scissors. We collect them in a large basket before placing them in our dryer. Once dry, they can be used to prepare mother tinctures that will be incorporated into our products.
To preserve the energy of our young plants - put in the ground in the spring - for the winter, we only harvest them once. The leaves of a mature plant can be harvested more than once during the summer and fall.
