Australia's most successful hip-hop journalist, Simone Amelia Jordan, shares a never-before-seen snippet from her exclusive interview with Rihanna, then 18, during the pop star's first visit Down Under.
In this clip, Rihanna reflects on her idyllic upbringing on the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados and visiting Australia, the biggest island in the world.
The interview was conducted for Urban Hitz magazine, Australia's highest-selling hip-hop and R&B publication, founded by Simone in 2003.
