A backhand overspin with a backhand slice is extreme.

But a hard counterpunch—when executed correctly—is an ironclad element of table tennis (it's easier to hit than to miss!), and even harder to return than an overspin.

That's why today's "Educational Program" is specifically about the hard backhand counterpunch.

More specifically, we'll cover:
The correct racket position during the backswing (without it, there's no chance of hitting the target)
How not to use your forearm and how to move your hand
Wrist movement during a hard block (might surprise you!) on the left

And at the end of the video, we'll look at all the technical aspects using Harimoto as an example (I know many people don't like his shouting, but his blocking is divine!).
