A cryptolocker style of malware that encrypts a users documents has been hitting Linux Webservers recently. For the average Linux user Linux.Encoder.1 / Linux.Encoder.2 pose no threat.
It affects Wordpress websites with old versions of Magento eCommerce plugin.
