Descent Disciples ||Vol. 6|| Las Flores Freefall
Volume 6 was always going to be a wild ride. Las Flores is the most dangerous descent in the Santa Monica Mountains. I asked to follow James down it because he is always on point in these mountains. It turns out even the best make mistakes, especially if you haven't descended Flores in a few years. We still racked up a bunch of record times on the way down, even with going off road :)
I had a hard time keeping up on the straight sections as I couldn't get into my 11t cog, not to mention James is the most aero rider I have ever ridden with. Pair that with a super aerodynamic bike, and Mr. Cowan drops down these roads like a bullet.
Speedometer is with the camera bike. Audio from James, his brake pads were shot which is what you can hear most of the way down ;)
