While doing framerate tests, I often found the graphics of Switch games without upscalers a bit disappointing. So I decided that once I finished all the framerate test videos, I would create a video testing upscalers on Switch 2.
What was originally planned as a 10-minute video with a 2-week production schedule ended up becoming a 1-hour video that took 2 months to complete.
I wanted to record in the best quality possible, so I ended up re-recording many times and even switching out some of the test games along the way, which was a lot of work. Still, I learned a lot about capture methods and video editing, so I feel proud of the process.
The video does cover some technical points that are a bit complicated, and since I’m not an expert, I’m sure there are mistakes here and there. On top of that, there are the limits of translation, so I’m not sure if my thoughts are fully conveyed. But I recorded this video with a lot of effort, so I hope you enjoy it and that it can be helpful to viewers.
