Mode is one of the measure of central tendency besides mean and median.Mode is a statistical term that refers to the most frequently occurring observation in a set of data.It is also defined as an observation that occurs maximum number of times.
How to find mode of ungrouped data?
Mode of ungrouped data or the data that is not in the form of frequency distribution can be found by pick up the value that occurs maximum number of times.So mode of ungrouped data will be:
Mode=Most frequent observation

How to Find mode of Grouped data?
Grouped data is divided into two forms:
1) Continuous Data
2) Discrete Data
Mode of Discrete Data:
Mode of discrete data can be found from frequency distribution table by considering the observation with the highest frequency as mode.So
Mode of discrete data=Observation with the highest frequency

Mode of Continuous Data:
Mode of Continuous data can be found by using below steps:
Step 1:
Find class boundaries.
Step 2:
Determine Modal class.Modal class is the class with highest frequency.
Step 3:
Use formula as
Mode=l+(fm-f1)/(2fm-f1-f2) *h
