Wordpress allows you to set the visibility to public or password protect pages or posts as per your requirement.
Step 1: Open your wordpress dashboard
Step 2: Go to posts or pages
Step 3: Select Edit & open the post
Step 4: From the sidebar change the visibility to password protected
Step 5: Set a password & click on update
