KISS - I Love It Loud [live at Rock Am Ring 2010]
"I Love It Loud" is a heavy metal song by the American band Kiss. It was released on their 1982 album Creatures of the Night. The track was written by bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons and guitarist Vincent Cusano, although some versions of the album mistakenly credit Paul Stanley and Cusano. Cusano had been working with songwriter Adam Mitchell when he discovered that Mitchell had connections to Kiss, and Cusano made it a point to meet Simmons through Mitchell. After meeting and exchanging phone numbers with Simmons, the two got together and wrote "I Love It Loud" in addition to another song called "Killer", which appeared on the Creatures album during the same writing session. The song fades out, only to come back even louder, and then fades out a second time. This idea was taken from The Beatles' songs "Helter Skelter" and "Strawberry Fields Forever."
Stand up, you don't have to be afraid
Get down, love is like a hurricane
Street boy, no I never could be tamed, better believe it
Guilty till I'm proven innocent
Whiplash, heavy metal accident
Rock on, I wanna be the president, 'cos
I love it loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, I don't want to compromise
Turn it up, hungry for the medicine
Two fisted to the very end
No more treated like aliens, we're not gonna take it 'cos
I love it loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, I don't want to compromise
Headlines jungle is the only rule
Front page roar of the nation cool
Turn it up, this is my attitude, take it or leave it yeah
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, don't want to compromise
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, don't want to compromise
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, don't want to compromise
