Independence day is celebrating annually on 15th August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15th August, 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence act 1947, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Consultant Assembly, came into effect. India attained Independence following the Independence Movement noted for largely non-violent resistance and civil disobedience.
Freedom was taken by the blood that was given by our Freedom Fighters for our better future.
It's time to recall and remember their efforts and bring peace and justice in society.
