I want to be clear that this video is all about F2L basics. This is more intuitive and the only way to get better is to practice. With that said, I hope this video gives some level of insight when learning this important speed solving step!

As a beginner, you probably learned to Solve the cube and passed over the use of F2L (First Two Layers)
I know when I first learned to solve the Rubik’s cube I would solve the cross, than the edges followed by incretion of the second layer. Personally this is not efficient.
With F2L, you’ll get to accomplish both the completion of the top and middle layer simultaneously.
When I’m performing F2L, I keep the cross at the bottom while solving.
This is honestly more intuitive, but there are some tricks I’d like to point out that help along the way.
The cube I’m using is the GANS 356 Air SM and I absolutely love it. I’m using the Blue Springs that have a spring elasticity of 3.5 N
