Telephone scammers pretended to be employees of banks and credit institutions. Now they've gone even further, claiming to be from the police and asking for help catching the criminals.
Furthermore, these phone scammers have developed a new cover story: they're now targeting all the money on your bank card. They claim the money has been deposited into your account; the scammers are laundering illegal funds. You'll be asked to help the police or prosecutors catch them, requiring personal information to separate your real money from the scammers'.
