5. The Babushka Lady
The Babushka Lady is a nickname given to an unknown woman who was present during the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The Babushka Lady can be seen wearing a headscarf and holding a camera, photographing the events that took place. She was observed standing on the grass between Elm and Main streets and even though the shooting took place and most of her surrounding witnesses took cover, she can be seen still standing with a camera at her face. Perhaps the most odd and mysterious thing about this woman is that the FBI and police never found her and the film shot from her position never turned up.
4. Mysterious 9/11 Attack Survivor
Amongst the rubble, a picture of a woman standing at the edge waving, possibly calling for help, can be seen. Interestingly she survived the initial attack on the South Tower of the World Trade Centre which is seen by the gaping hole and many question how she was able to survive this attack. Evidence suggests that this woman was called Edna Clinton and the mystery is that many believe she was a survivor and it is unclear how she was able to survive. However, the real mystery is that nobody knows what happened to her after.
3. Mysterious Thumb
A group of kids got together and posed for a photo, however, the mysterious thing about the photo is that there appears to be an extra thumb next to the kid standing behind the others that does not belong to anyone. What is even more perplexing is that the person who took the picture claims that there is no explanation for the mysterious thumb. Staged or Photo-shopped or neither, what do you think?
2. Falling Body
From first glance this appears to be a normal family photo of the Cooper family dining in their new house in Texas. However, as the photo developed a creepy body can be seen hanging upside down from the ceiling. Despite rigorous investigation, this photo remains a mystery and the original photographer stated that he wasn’t sure if it was real, but he thought it was creepy.
1. Time Travelling Hipster
From an initial glimpse, you can notice a person that stands out amongst the crowd. This photograph was taken in 1941 during the reopening of the South Forks Bridge in Canada after a flood. However, the mysterious man depicted in the photo appears to be wearing what seems to be modern-day clothing and he is carrying a camera that looks too advanced to have existed in that period. Conversely, the person on the left is holding a camera that was common during that period. So what do you think: Time Travelling Hipster or an authentic photo?
