I Switched my Legion Go S from SteamOS to Windows and It Surprised Me
I installed Windows on my Legion Go S (SteamOS version) to play games with anti-cheat like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and more. In this video, I show how I installed Windows on the Legion Go S, including upgrading the SSD, creating a bootable USB with Rufus, and installing the correct drivers.
I also compare XBox Fullscreen Experience vs SteamOS performance, battery life, and sleep mode to see which operating system is actually better for handheld gaming. While SteamOS still has advantages in efficiency and simplicity, XBox Mode lets me play all my games natively without dual booting or cloud streaming. After using both, I share my experiences and opinions about both operating systems.
