This video explains how to use component interfaces on Creo Parametric and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire models and assemblies. Basically this is a way to predefine assembly constraints on either the part that you're assembling in or the part or assembly that's receiving a part. It automates or streamlines assembling components.
