Atlanta - City Bike Share
We took the relay bike share system for a spin this weekend. This bike share program was user friendly with a simple app download and easily accessible – bikes were readily available at our starting point station and numerous stations were available in midtown Atlanta. We parked the bikes at a relay station to take a lunch break and grabbed two new bikes from a nearby station on our way out. The system is a great alternative to an uber as you pay a small fee for daily operation ($3.50) and pay by the hour, but if you park the bike back in any relay station, there is no charge for that idle time. You can also get a monthly pass that allows for 1.5 hours of biking time daily. The only negative is the bikes feel heavy after hopping off a road bike and numerous bikes parked at the station were out of operation due to servicing needed. You can see we had to adjust the bikes we chose as well! Overall we enjoyed the ride and would definitely use them again!
