How to use Lathe Modifier in 3ds Max
How to use Lathe Modifier.Let's do it ,as A Potter gives shapes to pots of clay similarly lathe gives shape to a vertical/ curved lines .Take a spline of any shapes as you like ,give smooth soft and smooth face.Apply Lathe under Modifier.Now hollow model will appear.always select shape at center then apply shell command to add thickness to it.now you can also apply Edit poly ,Inset ,detach to carve designed shape out.
