EverQuest Online Adventures / Sandstorm progress: new installation method, new zone test
Our new, simple install procedure (https://eqoa.live/install.html) allows us in theory to push game updates that aren't limited by the memcard size. As a proof of concept test, here's a new zone with a custom object and modified terrain. Very WIP - we don't have tools yet to create new materials so the car uses textures from the surrounding landscape. Thanks to the new system, you no longer need PCSX2 pnach/cheat/CHT's, just boot the .iso. It works on a real PlayStation 2 too without further tricks (except softmod).
