All the signs of the last days are being fulfilled exactly! The five seals of the apocalypse have been opened! Horsemen under the names of the Antichrist, war, famine, death and hell are galloping across the planet. People are being killed on earth for their faith in Christ. The 6th seal of the Apocalypse is preparing to open, which will lead to global collapse! But there is one very important sign that Jesus Christ spoke about, as well as the prophets who came before him! The sign confirms that our days are the last and the second coming of Christ will soon occur! This is the restoration of the statehood of Israel in 1948.
While on earth, Christ predicted the fall of Israel, the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple and the expulsion of the Jews. In 70 AD, Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman army! Israel ceased to exist, and the Jews were scattered throughout the world. The exile continued until our time. Jesus said that Jerusalem would be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled. In 1948, the Jewish state was proclaimed. Jerusalem ceased to belong to the Arab-Palestinians and became the sole capital of Israel.
Christ prophesied that when the fig tree, a symbol of Israel, blooms, then the time of His coming is near. The proclamation of the State of Israel in 1948 and the return of the Jews to their homeland is the starting point for the approach of the second coming of Christ and the end of this age. Jesus says that “this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened”! This is the generation of people who saw the creation of the State of Israel! A generation is a generation of people, and according to the book of Psalms, the lifespan of one generation is 70-80 years. If you add 70-80 years to the date of the establishment of the state of Israel, you get the years 2018-2028. The book of Genesis also says: let their days be 120 years. If you add 120 years to the date of the establishment of the state of Israel, you get the year 2068. We are not trying to determine the date of the end of the world! But based on the prophecies of Christ, it is clear that this generation will not pass when all this will come true!
Think about it, all the Biblical prophecies about the exile of the Jews were fulfilled exactly! The prophecies about their wanderings were “fulfilled” up until the nineteenth century. But in the twentieth century, all the Biblical prophecies about the return of the Jews to their homeland began to be fulfilled! We live in a historical moment of fulfillment of the most grandiose prophecies about the end times!
The prophet Ezekiel predicted more than 2,500 years before the prophecy was fulfilled: “Thus says the Lord God: “I will take the children of Israel from among the nations among which they are, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land. In this land, on the mountains of Israel, I will make them one nation, and one King will be king over them all!” The preparation for the second coming of Christ – the One King of Israel – united a people divided and disunited for millennia! Today in Israel they say: “Jews from over 100 nationalities have gathered here.” They continue to gather from all over the world, from all countries, peoples and continents! It is impossible to stop God’s plan!
The prophet Isaiah predicted 2,600 years before the prophecy was fulfilled: “Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such a thing? Has a country come into being in one day? "... was a people born at once, like Zion, who had barely begun to travail, and brought forth her sons?" Usually, states arise as a result of long historical processes, the Jewish people, who had survived the birth pangs, proclaimed the formation of a state on one specific day. The newborn Israel experienced a rapid demographic growth from 600 thousand to 1,400,000 people in three years!
From the very first day of its existence, Israel was forced to defend itself against its powerful neighbors. No matter how surprising this may be to the military experts of the leading countries, Israel turned out to be the undisputed winner in all wars on its territory, regardless of the forces of the opponents: During the Six-Day War in 1967, Jerusalem was liberated. The words of the prophet Jeremiah, spoken 2500 years before their fulfillment, have been fulfilled: “Hear the word of the Lord, you nations, and declare it to the isles afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd keeps his flock.” The age-old hope has become history!
