My tutorial makes getting started in the WordPress universe easy – even for complete beginners.
Step 1: We need to find an available domain for your WordPress website. If you already have a domain, I'll show you how to easily transfer it. To check if a domain is available, you can use my domain checker.
Step 2: After you've found your domain, you'll book an affordable hosting plan for your WordPress website. I recommend the "Essential" plan from IONOS. Of course, you can also use a different WordPress host.
Step 3: After booking hosting for your website, you can set up your login credentials and install Managed WordPress on your web space.
Step 4: Once WordPress is installed on the server, you can choose a theme. I'll show you which resources you can use, as there are over 8,000 themes available for WordPress websites.
Step 5: You'll learn the difference between pages and posts. You'll also create the essential system pages for your legal notice and privacy policy. Then, you'll integrate these pages into your WordPress homepage's menu.
Step 6: After setting up your website with WordPress, you'll connect your domain and make it accessible to Google.
