Sorry to inform you guys! But, CapCut will no longer be free from version 6.9.0. CapCut is becoming a paid app named CapCut Pro with subscription model just like Filmora GO, InShot or Kinemaster. Atleast InShot and Filmora GO have one-time purchase option, but CapCut has no such option. On top of that, CapCut Pro subscription will not cover Cloud subscription. For Cloud, you have to subscribe separately.
For now, it seems you can still use CapCut Free of cost, if you do not use Pro Features. Most of the required basic features as well as some advanced features such as mask, cutout, blur effects and so on are still free. But, I am not sure what will happen in future.
Honestly I am shocked with this news and I am little bit sad. Because, I was becoming comfortable with this app and I loved it for it's simplicity. I was really happy thinking that not all companies want money. CapCut is owned by ByteDance which also owns TikTok. With TikTok, they are already making lot of money. So I did not see it coming.
