The recording of the network programmability stream which occurred on 2018/06/24
On this stream I started playing with Cisco NSO – network configuration state automation tool. We went through the first example in the documentation which covers basic usage of netsim (network operating system CLI simulator), configuration of network devices through NSO, device groups and templates as well as synchronization between the individual device configuration and NSO configuration database (CDB)
During the stream we also discussed how NSO works and its building blocks as well as how it is different comparing to tools like DNA Center on one side and tools like Ansible, Salt on another side.
At the beginning of the stream we spent some time discussing my Cisco Live US experience and some updates to my website
