This video will cover the steps to perform a forced reload for the following Proxim products, via ScanTool version 3.1.3:
Tsunami® QB 10100 Series
ORiNOCO® QB-9100 Series
Notes:
• Units with Firmware version 6.0.x, it is required to enter the Endpoint B’s MAC address in the Endpoint A’s configuration to establish a connection.
• Units with Firmware version 6.3.0 and above, it is not required to enter the Endpoint B’s MAC address in the Endpoint A’s configuration to establish a connection.
• As the forced reload works at Bootloader level, VLAN configuration will not impact the procedure.
• When performing a forced reload on the Quickbridge 10100 both radios revert back to “EndPoint A”, to re-establish an RF link the far end unit will have to be changed to “EndPoint B”.
• When performing a forced reload on the Quickbridge 9100 the Radio mode does not change, the near radio will remain as an EndPoint A and the far end radio will remain as an EndPoint B.
