Restoring the capacity of a 2004 3ShNKP-10M05 miner's lamp battery
In this video, I restore the capacity of a miner's flashlight battery. The battery had been sitting unused for a long time. It's not entirely clear whether it's new or not, but there seem to be some traces of liquid inside. On the other hand, the separators are very white. When a battery of this type is used, the separators darken due to the graphite in the plates (it absorbs the gases released during the reaction). Ultimately, this battery's capacity was identical to the factory one. It's an excellent battery, especially considering it's been 12 years since its production. Of course, there were older batteries, but that doesn't make the battery any less wonderful.
