Highest DPS Hunter Build in Destiny 2 | 8.5K DPS & 180K+ Burst Damage
Solar Version (Best for Raids & Team DPS)
The Solar variant is the highest team-supported DPS version of the build.
In a coordinated fireteam, you can stack:
Radiant (Well of Radiance) → +20 / 25% damage
Weaken (Tractor Cannon / Tether) → +30 / 35% damage
Void Surge x3 → ~+21% damage
Reaper’s Tithe (Catalyst) → +40% damage
Fortune’s Favor (while overshielded) → +15% damage
These are multiplicative buffs, not additive:
1.25 × 1.30 × 1.21 × 1.40 × 1.15 ≈ 3.17× total damage
That means your Truth shots end up doing ~3.1x to 3.2x normal damage
Even without Shards of Galanor, Blade Barrage still hits extremely hard in this setup.
Rough impact: ~20,000+ burst damage (super hit window)
With full debuff stacking (Radiant + Weaken + buffs active), it becomes comparable to top-tier burst supers like Cuirass Thundercrash in practical damage phases even without Galanor.
Prismatic Version (More Suitable for Solo / Dungeon)
You lose burst super, but you can apply Weaken via Tether (35%)
Maintain Radiant uptime for self-buff
Much stronger neutral game + survivability
and this still deals 8.5k DPS with around 160k total burst
Truth Rotation Guide:
Fire 2 shots of Truth on any target
Reaper’s Tithe buff will start let it go
Save the 3rd shot in the magazine
Wait until a group of ads spawns (3–4 ads)
Dump Truth into the group to:
Trigger Reaper’s Tithe x4 & Prototype Trueseeker (These buffs will remain saved until you fire your next shot)
Forget you have Truth until DPS phase starts
