The solution at 5:35 in the video
About a month ago, after I did the last update to iMovie, my green screened movies started to render or save very slowly. It would take upwards of 4 hours to save a movie and even then it would often fail. At first I wasn't sure if all my videos were doing this so I paid attention and noticed that is was only the videos where I used my green screen and put a picture behind me. If I didn't put the picture, then the movie would save quickly. The minute I click the tab that says "Green or blue screen" in the editing program, that movie would take forever to save.
By accident, when I use a screen shot from video as my background, was when I noticed that the movie save more quickly. Hi, My name is Barbara and I'm originally from Belize located in Central America. I now reside in Southern California with my husband of over 33 years and 3 young adult children Josh, Jory and Jada. Although I'm the host of the show, Joe and the kids play a major part in front of and behind the camera.
